Pennsbury 28, Central Bucks South 6
A stifling defense and explosive running by Galamama Mulbah helped lead surging Pennsbury past Central Bucks South, 28-6, on Friday night. The Falcons, now 4-1 and winners of four straight, allowed the Titans (3-2) to score on their second possession before shutting them down the rest of the way. Meanwhile, Mulbah, a senior, piled up 208 rushing yards and two touchdowns, including a 91-yard bolt in the fourth quarter, to help put things away.
Central Bucks West 35, North Penn 14
North Penn scored first, but Vinny Cherubini tied things up for the Bucks, who scored three unanswered touchdowns en route to a huge win. Eli Boehm led the way with 232 rushing yards and three touchdowns on runs of 21, 52 and six yards, as the Bucks (2-3) picked up their second victory of the season. Michai Cuffie and Amir Major both ran in a touchdown for the Knights, who fell to 3-2.
Central Bucks East 16, Pennridge 13 (2 OT)
Jack Corrigan was clutch under pressure, as the Patriots’ kicker booted a field goal through the uprights in double overtime to keep CB East (5-0) undefeated on the season. The game was heavy on defense, with the Patriots’ Pat Keller’s 1-yard plunge over the goal line the only scoring in the first half. In the third, Brennan Fisher returned a kickoff 80 yards to tie things up as the teams went back and forth. Ethan Shine added a 2-yard rushing TD to give the Patriots a 13-7 lead, which didn’t last long as Tyler Wetzel scored on an 8-yard run for the tie. Pennridge, after winning two straight, falls to 2-3.
