Fuel Costs Decline: Keystone State Joins National Trend

As June begins, the national average for a gallon of gasoline has decreased, driven by tepid demand and a lower oil price. As of June 2, the average cost per gallon in the United States is $3.54, marking a 13-cent drop from one month ago.

Pump prices across Pennsylvania have also edged lower in recent weeks. At an average of $3.73 statewide, each gallon is eight cents cheaper than last month. Here in Bucks County, drivers are benefiting from some of the affordable fuel prices in the Commonwealth, with an average gallon of gas costing $3.63.
